Processes and Procedures
Charitable organizations that assist women can partner with us by reviewing our guidelines. Partner charities can call to refer their clients to us or by passing along our referral card for the client to make their own appointment at our shop.
A client must be seeking employment and be referred to Amelia’s Closet by an approved partner agency. The agency or client can call us to set up an appointment. At the appointment, the client can fill out their registration form then an Amelia’s Closet personal shopper and assistant will help them select the best interview outfits and accessories for them. An interview tip sheet and other helps will be given to each client before she leaves (appointments average one hour, no guests please).
Upon being hired, a follow-up appointment can be scheduled and the appointment procedure will be repeated, offering a week’s worth of clothing suitable for their employment, as available. Follow-up correspondence will be conducted in order to document the client’s progress and help determine any ways we can improve our program.
